A few minutes away, just bordering the sea lies the "Amarilla Golf and Country Club". This eighteen-hole course enjoys the incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, which inspired the golf architect David Steel.
Surrounded as it is by barrancos and residential developments the course provides a stern challenge for the professional golfer, while at the same time offering an attractive and enjoyable game for those of a more modest ability.
The facilities include driving range, putting green, Pro-shop, equestrian centre and Club House with tennis court, swimming pool, bar and restaurant.
Sometimes ‘deals’ can benefit non-residents on holiday by purchasing a “Bono” for 18 x 5 or 9 x 5, prices vary a lot depending on the season so it is well worth a visit to the Pro-shop to see what options are available during you stay.
